Do not Forget to Tone as you loose weight

You've probably see the infomercials on TV for the contour abs electronic ab toning belt. Looks great, right? They promise you will lose inches from your waist just by strapping on an ab belt for a few minutes a day with no other effort. Sounds even better, right?

We all want to have a slim, strong, toned abdominal section but is it just that easy? So does the contour abs really work? Well, yes and no.

The contour abs will work your abs with tiny electronic pulses causing your abs to contract just like when you do a situp or crunch, but it will NOT make you lose weight from your belly. To acheive that, you need to eat healthily, drink a lot of water instead of sugary soda and actually exercise!

Fat is only burned by our bodies when our heart rates rise through exercise or physical activity of some sort.

Once you have burned the layer of body fat that covers your abs, then and only then will you have the chance to see the results from your chosen ab toning belt.

An ab belt is a very effective, scientifically proven way to work your abdominal muscles without doing hundreds of situps - but you will only see your new sixpack if you've first burned off any fat that covers them, as mentioned above.

OK, so I've burned some bodyfat, now what? Should I buy a contour abs belt?

In a word, no! Before you go ahead and buy a contour abs belt, check out a few trusted online reviews and comparisons, so you can see the features that different ab belts have. The two leading ab belts are the contour abs and the flexbelt - which one is better?

The flex belt is much higher quality than the contour abs, and more advanced in its design. Its much more up to date, and has a handy rechargeable power pack instead of using an endless amount of batteries like the contour abs does.

Price wise, the two ab belts are similar, the contour being slightly more expensive - making the choice a little simpler. The obvious choice of ab belt is the flexbelt, seeing as its more up to date and better quality, for slightly less of your money!

Searching for Weight Loss success? Factors that can hinder you

Losing weight is a difficult task. Changing your diet and exercise routine on a permanent basis can be a formidable challenge and the level of bad information floating around does not make it any easier for you. On the TV you see weight loss pills, plans and programs endorsed by your favourite celebrity or backed by "new ground breaking research". In the supermarket you see low fat, low sugar and low calorie foods often accompanied by similar recommendations. So how do you know what to choose? Here we will outline six things that you should avoid as part of a weight loss plan. You may also wish to take a look here for a comprehensive program with proven results Click Here!

Things to avoid....
1) FAD DIETS:- Fad diets are a perfect illustration of what I discussed above. You will regularly see celebrities promoting a fad diet with claims such as "I lost 14lb in 1 week whilst on this diet". What's more is that these claims are often true. Yes, fad diets can lead to significant weight loss in small periods of time. So what's the catch and why should they be avoided?

Well whilst fad diets work in the short term they often pose significant risks to your health in the long term because they require you to stick to certain foods and therefore make you miss out on the full nutritional benefits of a balanced diet. Plus, the weight lost on a fad diet often goes straight back on as soon as you come off the diet.

2) UNHEALTHY FOODS:- I know this is a very broad term but you need to avoid unhealthy foods and eat more healthy foods if you want to lose weight in the long term. Unhealthy foods include; highly processed foods, foods that are high in fat, foods that are high in sugar, foods that are high in calories and foods that contain little or no nutritional value. Just because a food product claims to be low in fat or low in sugar does not necessarily mean that it is low in calories or even a healthy option. If you look at all the nutritional information on the food's packaging you can usually tell whether the food is healthy or not.

3) WEIGHT LOSS PILLS AND PATCHES:- Weight loss pills and patches are another example of products that are often heavily endorsed or backed by research. However, the truth is that the majority of these products have a very moderate effect on your weight loss and without a proper diet and exercise plan you will barely notice the impact of weight loss pills or patches. In my opinion a gym membership or some healthy food is a much wiser investment than weight loss pills or patches.

4) ARTIFICIAL PRESERVATIVES AND SWEETENERS:- These can include; aspartame, saccharin and stevia. Although they help make foods last for longer and often improve their flavour, they can also be toxic and hinder your weight loss efforts.

5) SODIUM RICH FOODS:- It is quite well publicised that sodium (salt) is bad for your health. Sodium also makes you hold additional water so you start to carry excess water weight. By restricting your sodium intake you can lose weight and improve your overall health.

6) NEGATIVE THINKING:- Negative thinking has the potential to completely destroy your weight loss plans. If you start thinking about your weight loss plan in a negative way you are making yourself fail before you have even begun. Try to look at all the weight loss dilemmas you encounter in a positive light. For example, don't think "WHY can't I drop that extra 10lb?" By thinking in this way you are admitting failure. Instead, think "HOW can I drop that extra 10lb?" By thinking in this way you are looking for solutions to your weight loss dilemma.

Losing weight can be a struggle and the increasing amount of bad information in the industry does not help matters. However, with the right tools weight loss is possible. I hope this article keeps you focussed on your weight loss goals by identifying some of the obstacles that you need to avoid.

Top 10 Low Carb Meals For Your P.M. Hours

Need to lose weight fast?

One things is for certain... having a long list of low carb meals to choose from will work like gangbusters.

It's no secret that eating carbs at the correct times is the REAL key to super fast, lasting results.

Each and every one of your days should be divided up into no less than six meal segments. You can eat starchy carbs for the first three (Typically the A.M. and early P.M. hours). Things like pasta and bread.

But try your absolute best to eliminate them for the last three meals (P.M. hours) an watch the weight come off!

With that in mind... here's a list of the top 10 low carb meals that you can eat during those P.M. hours (Late lunch, dinner... etc.).

They are filling, taste great and are super easy to make!

1: Chicken and spinach salad

- Cut up chicken breast or thigh and mix it into your spinach salad with a vinaigrette dressing.

2: Beef tacos with corn tortilla

- Stick with lean ground beef and pile on the tomatoes, onions, black-olives and any other veggies you like.

3: Seared tuna on a bed of greens

- Tuna is pretty easy to find and cook. Just place it on top of spinach, romaine lettuce, green beans... basically any type of greens can make up this great meal.

4: Steak and red potatoes

- Once again, try to use lean cuts. I choose red potatoes over standard russet or other types because they are far less "starchy".

5: Chicken and brown rice

- Hey... wait a second! This meal has starchy carbs! Well don't worry about the brown rice here... it's a very high quality type of carb that won't hurt your results provided you don't stuff your face with it.

6: Salmon, acorn squash and asparagus.

- Salmon can be cooked in the oven or on the grill right beside your squash and asparagus.

7: Sausage, egg and cheese omelette

- Doesn't have to be sausage. Just add your meat and whatever vegetables you like and it's one of the perfect low carb meals.

8: Chicken Caesar wrap

- Lean cuts of breast meat with a bit of Caesar dressing and romaine lettuce and you're all set. I tend to use a spinach or a whole grain wrap.

9: Turkey burger on 100% whole grain bread with side of slaw

- A little whole grain bread won't hurt anything. Just remember to keep it very limited during your P.M. hours. This makes for a great low-carb American meal and you can even mix your won coleslaw.

10: Ribs and sweat potatoes

- A perfect southern "low carb" meal for the grill or oven. Just add your own barbecue sauce.

Now certainly their are many more options here... but I've found that consuming these low carb meals has really helped my clients lose weight much easier and faster.

To achieve the goal, you have to identify the key potential that is required in you. If you know that you already have that potential, then the job becomes very simple. If your self analysis says that you have not developed that potential, then start working on ways to develop that key potential to achieve the goal.

Some people may be defied of success because they don't believe in themselves. Believe in yourself when you want to reach the goal. Every one of us has negative thoughts in our mind that always criticizes our activities. You need to listen to this negative voice to some extent to identify your flaws. 6 factors that can impede your weight loss success

Whilst I cannot make any specific product recommendations, in this article I will outline six things that you should avoid as part of a weight loss plan.
